Wow.this is great! Very dark, but great. I like darker stories sometimes –– good ones that stay in canon and are nicely written are sometimes difficult to find in the fanfiction world, but I think you are really nailing it. I personally love how you are writing Bellatrix's character –– its obvious how much care you are putting into selecting her words and actions. She is so controlling and sadistic - such a messed up personality that must be hard to write.but you are doing great! I feel bad for Hermione :/ But its great to see a Hermione and Bellatrix torture scene written in such a dynamic way that stays in canon and true to the characters.

Keep it up! I can't wait to see another chapter :)

Bellatrix's character is perhaps one of the most difficult to tackle, solely because she has such a large canon voice and presence in the original series. I'm so happy you think I'm writing her well here! The torture scene, too, was a bit of a tight squeeze, just because I didn't want to copy the Bellatrix/Hermione torture scene we already saw. Your comments really have made my day. ♥
