The moment I saw this chapter title, I knew it HAD to be a Katie. That may be because you might have told me this title before and I subconsciously remembered it; I'm not sure though. But I would have guessed regardless I reckon. Amazing.

"I think that curtain tried to kill me." It happens a lot, Ron.

Oh dear, the press have arrived. Well, it was only a matter of time. Yes, Tanith is realising that Harry DOESN'T like the attention. Good, good. Things seem to be thawing between them, which I like of course.

LOVE the little touch of the flat's rent going up because there's not so much noise coming from the shop. Even though that's actually ridiculously sad cause it means, you know, FRED'S DEAD MAN.

PLEASE tell me Tanith's going to the pub with Ariane and Melanie? If this is true then I will combust with happiness!

Oh, poor Tanith, being reminded of David like that. It must be SO hard for her to have to come to terms with leaving all that behind, given that at one point he was pretty much the only person she had. And I can see how he could easily pop into her thoughts every time things aren't going well with Toby. Bless her. Things really aren't rosy for Tanith when it comes down to it.

Tanith/Cal time. I like. Interesting that he's visiting Thanatos. Like that she's going with him. HMM. Excited for more!

Author's Response: I had to trim Katie's chapter titles. She would have had about 5, otherwise? I didn't even write her lines for the titles, they were just the ones which jumped out at me when I was trawling the dialogue.

Yeah, interior decorating hates Ron. I forgot that! And indeed, Tanith might be petty and inclined to hold a grudge (not that she has reason to), but she has a hard time ignoring the evidence in front of her nose, and that evidence tells her that Harry's a Good Guy. I was slightly worried in the paragraph where she's reflecting on his presence being reassuring; the moment any character starts eyeing up another people assume it's romantic!

Fred's dead, baby. Fred's dead. Which IS very sad. George's cameo has been cut; there was no way for it to fit in how I envisioned it and it wouldn't have served any purpose other than be A Cameo. A shame, but if I want it so much I can stick it in Sunrise.

Yes, Tanith is going to the pub with Ariane and Melanie. But THAT is Chapter 8. Good times coming. The David issues are not done and dusted, they will keep on creeping up on her, and this isn't the last we've seen of them in this story. Tanith's life is definitely taking a turn for the sucky. So it's just as well she's getting on with Cal for once! He is nice and supportive and his own issues will be rising to the forefront soon, yeees...
