Yes, Harry and Ron time! Their reaction to seeing Tanith was truly amazing. It's so daft of me, but it's clearly because I'm so used to Tanith's story now, but I was really confused when they didn't realise that she was fighting for them the whole time in the war! And that Harry barely knew who she was in the first place. Bleurgh, mind blown. It's okay, I've got it all straight in my head now.

Katie's after the pretty girl in admin. Oh, she's such a cheeky thing. I love her. And I'm actually not liking that Tanith got shot down twice in minutes! Poor thing. Even if it IS Harry and Ron. I don't like when she's outsmarted. She probably needs it, mind.

In Lestrange's team at the Wilson house - i.e was one of the lot effectively responsible for Wilson and McLaggen's deaths. Ugh.

Om nom juicy Killing Curse theory. Big love for this.

Mrs Mulready stuff is DODGY. This is most DEFINITELY far bigger than a simple 'paint-by-numbers' job. Oh Vaughn you silly. Whoa, suspicious Lackardy stuff. The same people attacked him as killed Mulready, I suspect. Though I may well be wrong; most of my Ren theories were a little bit off the mark. HMM.

...Clean forgot that Katie, you know, PLAYED QUIDDITCH with Harry and Ron. Jeez, I'm thick tonight. I am actually LOVING Katie right now though. Listen to her, Tanith, she talks sense! Good chapter more please!

Author's Response: Interrupted, though at least they're snatching time together while they can! It's an important part of the process. Yeah, I do seem to like continuing to allude to Cal/Toby. Their bromance is so pure, and there's a lot more of it in this fic after it got so woefully neglected in Shadow.

Underlying Issues will, indeed, be fully and thoroughly explored. Hopefully to satisfaction.

It was fun to write this from an 'outside' perspective. And, indeed, Harry's so woefully unobservant of what's not immediately in front of his face that I imagine he wouldn't have much of a clue who Tanith was. But I imagine it's an unpleasant issue with the MLE Department, and how to deal with members who served still during the war. We shall touch more on that.

In Lestrange's team at the Wilson house - not just causing the deaths of Wilson and McLaggen but also the horrible torture of Wilson's family.

I thought the Killing Curse stuff made sense. If nothing else, why NOT cast it all the time otherwise? And yes, unsurprisingly, there's more to the case than the initial assumption made by Vaughn. But I shan't comment on theories!

Katie is a favourite of mine. She was runaway tertiary character in Shadow, and now she's a runaway secondary character here in BTP. But there will be plenty more of her, too! Thanks for reviewing!
