it's satirical and witty and so aware - but at the same time, if you remove all that, it's still a chuffing good read with - yes - some chuffing good snogging. okay sorry, that basically lowered the tone by about fifteen fathoms...but. I like the balance you've got going on here.

Appy is actually...um, wow.

Great-Aunt Rita always said she would take me to the Prophet headquarters, but let's face it: the woman is much better at being a liar than an aunt. - STILL MY FAVOURITE LINE OF THIS CHAPTER OMG

also - we both already know how perfect that little passage is about the cult of quirk. girls and girldom, will any of us ever really shake it off? mini rant on the side: sure, I'm hardly perfect in my own characterisation, but in fanfiction, it rarely ever seems that boys are human. buuut this is not the place for discussing such matters and I shall return to the chapter.
