Review:anonymous says:
I liked this story, but there was one line that really bothered me: "He didn't have a homemaker for a wife so that he could do the cooking."

The premise of the story - that Victoire always cooks, so Teddy is at a loss when he has to feed the kids - is just fine, and made for a very amusing story. But I think the idea could have been executed without the sexist overtones that suggest Teddy is exempt from all housework because he is the Working Man. I was a bit offended by the implication that it is the wife's responsibility to handle all domestic chores. My mother - who did not work outside the home - certainly always expected my father to do his share. In fact, she hates cooking and he does it almost every night!

Author's Response: Yes, he was having a whiny chauvinist moment. The story is intended to be funny, not social commentary. Thank you for reviewing.
