I really loved your description of Ron's feelings for Hermione. They are so him! Not all romance-y, but sure and strong and convinced of the inevitability of it.

Also your Draco...so consistent with canon. (And here I was once worried that this was going to turn into a Dramione...)

I'm curious what happens next as you venture further and further into AU...

Author's Response: I'm so glad you thought that Ron's feelings were in canon! Sometimes it's tricky to write Ron in love, but it's a nice challenge, and hearing that I've done it right is always really encouraging. :)

SO happy at how many people seem to think that Draco's canon, too! He's probably the one I'm most focused on keeping in canon -- him and Voldemort, I'd say. Draco is consistently written out of canon, in my view, and so it's something I focus heavily on reversing, even going to far as to writing myself little reminders in my planning notes to keep him in character. :P No Dramione here!

Chapter eight should be out in a little more than a week. ;) I'm excited to see what you'll think of that one! And, as always, thank you so, so much for being one of my most dedicated and loyal reviewers -- it means so much to me! ♥
