Oh dear, it's taken me forever to review this last chapter...sorry about that!

I thought Scorpius did quite well with the cousins gathering considering a few of them can be rather intimidating. Dominique definitely put him on edge, but I think Fred was actually the worst. But I like that Rose knows her own mind enough not to be too bothered what by what her cousins think of Scorpius. They don't know him like she does. Hopefully he'll grown on some of them because hopefully he'll be around for a very long time. At least Teddy would be on Scorpius's side! I like Teddy's character. He seems like a great guy. Rose should definitely take her advice from him. :)

Favorite line: “Were we meant to?” asked Roxanne. “I thought we were meant to embarrass you. My mistake.” Ha ha! What are cousins good for, right?

Also, the ending lines were sweet, though not over-the-top. A very satisfying ending.

I thought this chapter was a nice way to wrap up the story! I'm so sad that it's over, but I'm incredibly excited about the sequel. I just love reading about Rose and Scorpius, and you do them so well. This story definitely gave me a new perspective on Slytherins, and ignited my love of Rose/Scorpius stories. It's now an addiction. :)

I definitely agree that Fred was the worst. Dominique put him on edge, but she tends not to be outwardly hostile - she just likes putting people on edge. Fred does not understand that kind of subtlety.

I'm personally a Gryffindor all the way, but I never liked the way Slytherins were covered in the books or are covered in fanfics - it's just boring a lot of the time, and I've always felt like there's a lot more to them than just the boring blood purity openly conniving characterisation they often have. I knew I want Scorpius to be a Slytherin, but I also knew that I wanted him to be a generally sweet and charismatic guy, and I really tried to balance the two. I'm really glad that, for you, at least, I did. :)

I love Rose/Scorpius, so much. It's such a great pairing.
