Aww this was sad! I pretty much expected them to get together at the end but it was actually a nice surprise that they didn't. It made this story really unique! I also really liked how you made Scorpius clearly different from his family. I mean, Hufflepuff? His father must have been shocked, but I can actually see it really clearly. If I were the child of a former death eater, I would want to change my family name by being really different, too.

Anyways, I really liked this :) I thought it was sweet and I enjoyed reading it:D

Author's Response: Yes, I wanted it to be very different from the usual ScoRose fics.

You've pretty much hit spot on what I wanted from his character. I was thinking of what character I could write about as a Hufflepuff and then Scorpius just popped into my head and the rest seemed to write itself.

And it was kind of nice to paint the Wotters as the more negative ones for once. I haven't seen a lot of that.
