I have been trying to hard to get here and read the first chapter of this, and yay, I finally made it!

Absolutely love the incorporation of Snow White so far! I am excited to see how this misunderstood Bellatrix becomes the crazy killer we know from the books.

I like the little things you did to show her sanity and softer side, like missing her sister, and being pained over her dying father. Yet, you've still made it clear she's a Black through her hatred of mudbloods, though she's nothing close to the woman who laughed about murdering her own cousin.

I wonder what the apple did? Was it her mothers attempt to murder her, but she survives and that's how she turns into the psycho we know and.. well... not love. haha.

Was it some form of magic she bit into that will control her?? Ahh I'm so curious and can't wait for the next chapter!

Your imagery in this is great, especially a sentence up at the beginning about her running her fingers along the wall as she walked. It gave me goose bums!

I love the feel of this first chapter, especially the mean little cliff hanger you left us ;)!

I love incorporating fairy tales into my stories, haha! This is my second one, and i have another one in the works! Snow White has definitely been my favorite!

Bellatrix comes really easy to me, which probably isn't good because she's insane. But I feel like I understand her character a lot, which makes it very comfortable for me to write her.

I really, really want to tell you what the apple did, but alas, you will have to wait for the chapter to be posted!(;
