I like the believable relationship between Louis and Freya, and how you have described Louis's guilt about changing Freya's life, and about what his family will do to him when they find out the news. Quite a Christmas present, there!

I loved the little detail about Freya stealing his jumpers, that was really sweet. There were a couple of hiccups in spelling here and there (probably typos) but otherwise this chapter flowed nicely. I'd love to see more description of the scene at Louis's house, are Bill and Victoire and their kids still living at Shell Cottage? You have a very promising start on a thoughtful story, keep up the good work :)
