That was gorgeous! The writing was so poetic, but also haunting in a way. I loved the lines that were Percy's conscience talking to him. The style of this whole one-shot was incredible, and it was different than anything I've read before. I can definitely picture this story being told to little witches and wizards long after Percy's time. Does that make sense? Also, I loved how Percy's view of his family and his life change as ambition takes over and twists his views of what is the right thing to do. This was an absolutely fabulous one-shot, and I can't wait to see what other styles you try in future stories! And I'm really excited for your Ron/Hermione story, too! This was brilliant, Jane! 10/10

Author's Response: I'm so happy you enjoyed this! :) I feel like a lot of my one-shots have been sort of lyrical and stylistic lately, and they're really fun to write. And then, of course, my other stories are just straightforward prose, and you know, those are fun to write, too. I just love writing in general -- what can I say? :)

I think that bit you said about being told to children long after Percy's time was great! Gah, that's one of the best comments I've received on this story. ♥ I loved getting into Percy's head and sort of exploring his motives, and he's such an interesting character to write about. In my opinion!
