I loved this as an introduction to the story! Lucy's characterisation is very real, but not cliched, and I liked how we've already learnt so much about her family. Weasleys are always very focused on each other so it's nice there's so much emphasis here too :)

Molly seemed so lovely! You wrote the similarities and differences between her and Lucy really well, and I like how the dress-shopping scene showed us so much about them, but didn't drag on too long. In fact, all of your pacing's been brilliant, since it feels like it's moving along but isn't too slow, either.

I already can't wait to see how everyone will act with Lucy as Head Girl, or to learn more about Lucy's relationship with Lily! I do like her so far, but I really want to know more :D

Great job so far! I'll be looking out for the next chapter :)

Author's Response: Hiya! Oh, you're far too kind, but thank you for the compliments! This chapter was mostly about introducing the characters and their relationships with each other, and I'm glad it showed so well, and that the pacing is fine - I thought that it would seem too slow.

Hey, I like Lucy and Lily too! The relationship between them is rather interesting, and I can't wait to write more about it :) I'm as excited about the next few chapters as /you/ are, honestly. Thank you very, very much, and see you around at the forums!
