Oh Kira, this was a wonderful, wonderful chapter!

Now, this might have been an effect of pregnancy, but I cried pretty much all along this chapter... I felt so proud and happy for Hugo; you managed to show just how far has come from since the beginning of this story and it was impressive. 19 chapters along and this is a complete other boy you have created. The change was so fluid that it just makes sense and I feel like I didn't really feel it change.

I love the idea of having the parents come back to Hogwarts for the show but mostly, I love how you tackled it. It would have been easy to give more descriptions of how they acted and a longer scene with Hugo and his parents but it would have taken away from the real story, which is Hugo's show. I think you gave it just enough attention so that it was a nice touch without taking away from the central story.

I noticed two little things that sounded strange through my read :

"The girls were graceful and strong personalities, and Charlie just really had a genuine feel when he read his lines."; feels like a verb is missing before 'strong personalities'

"They gave us a long round of applause and truly did see impressed by our efforts."; this just sounds strange to me (remember, not native English) but it feels like it should be (or would sound better to me) '...truly did 'seem' impressed'

Overall, a great chapter; one of the best when it comes to story, character development (Glen, Lily, James...) and I'm really sad that this story is coming to an end, I always get so happy when there's an update! But that's alright, just means you have written a wonderful story and it will definitely stay one of my all time favorite stories on this site. Great, great work|

Author's Response: CONGRATULATIONS! I'm hoping it was a good cry! I find it truly incredible and I mean INCREDIBLE that I could write something that would make somebody cry (even if it is just hormones). Yes, even I'm surprised with how well Hugo developed; sometimes it really seemed like he was doing it all on his own and I was just there to watch. I was worried about the amount of details during the pre-show dinner so your comments really made me feel better about it. As far as the corrections you found, I believe that you are totally and completely right. I really should focus a bit more of my energy on such things. You are really so very kind and, if you must know, caused a few tears from me as well.
