But anyway. About the chapter. I have to admit, I was pretty sad Scorpius didn't make an appearance, but oh well, Julian was there. And man, did I feel for Rose! Poor girl; it sucks having a guy you like tell you he's not into you. :/ But I don't think it was Scorpius who told him! Julian probably just figured it out for himself...The commentary on the match is going to be cruel, isn't it?

Author's Response: I hear you loud and clear! And you know that if, for whatever reason, I get some sort of plot for a sequel, I'll definitely consider it. ;) I never anticipated writing these characters would be as fun as it is. It's taught me a lot!

I feel having prodigious interaction from both boys in one chapter would be overwhelming. :P This was definitely Julian's big chapter, as it were. That being said, I'm enjoying seeing all these theories scroll past as to who exactly blabbed to Julian -- if, indeed, anyone blabbed at all! -quirk of the eyebrow-
