Hi, there.

So after the relatively short review I left for your other story, I really wanted to read something else of yours. Like I said, I wasn't a huge fan of the April Fools Day hi jinx, and I feel a bit bad, as though I took a little of that out on you.

I really, really liked this story. What you did with Teddy and Victoire was adorable. The characterization for a pair of three-year-olds was perfect. As I read Teddy's thoughts, I could feel a lot of his father in him, as well as his godfather. He was so eager to please, and so proud of himself in his ability to make Victoire happy. I have to imagine Remus feeling a lot like this, once he got over his inferiority complex with Tonks.

Victoire's little voice was hilarious, with her mispronunciations. She was precious. And Teddy's brief moment of sadness about leaving his perfect stone behind was icing on the cake. It struck a great balance between the cares of a young child and a boy who is feeling his first hint of puppy love.

This story was heartwarming and I loved it!

Your comments about their characterisations means so much! When I wrote this, I always thought that Teddy seemed a bit mature. It's so hard to get into the minds of little kids. It's easy to see their actions and hear what they say and copy that, but it's so hard to understand how they think, so any praise is so reassuring!

I had a lot of fun with the mispronunciations, so I'm glad you liked them!
