Hello again!

I just had to read one more chapter and you did not disapoint. After such an action packed one, it was nice to fall back on a lighter and more filler chapter. Those are definitly needed at times in order to make the characters progress and you definitly made the most out of this one.
Simon beneficiated a lot from this chapter; he gained another lighter layer and I enjoyed that a lot.

You did a wonderful job writting humor as well in this chapter. That moment with the quill was pure brilliance! Relly would have gotten them in trouble though; and Galdys was just a, erm, dear... whasn't she?

Now you've got me all curious as to why they needed all these books... Oh and I just wasn to add that, as a French person, I have to agree with Corinne; we do have a bunch of tasty curse words. Lots of them actually, a wide variety to chose from as opposed to the few ones you have in English :)

Yes, this chapter was supposed to be slightly less action-y than the last one. Just to give a bit of break, and as you said, to allow for character development, especially for Simon.

And there is a bit of humor here too, which there hasn't been much of so far. Haha. Gladys is a bit much, isn't she?

Haha, yes. I took French for a few years, and learned a fair amount of different words that people use. They seemed to have more words at varying levels of acceptability too. If that makes sense.

Anyways, I appreciate you coming back to leave another review. I'm glad you liked this chapter as well!
