Once again, sorry for the delay (although a couple weeks is better than a couple months, right?). I wanted to re-read the first chapter in order to get back into the story and then, well I lost track of things thanks to my crazy job and here we are, weeks later and I finally have time to review this chapter!

It was really nice; I like how you used the flash-back from another perspective. It really gave another degree to the entire story because we now understand that Percy fell hard for that girl upon first look. Both characters are really enjoyable; Percy is true to canon but with a fun edge and Audrey is just perfect for him.

When it comes to their actual meeting, I think it was brilliantly done. Both characters were out of their element and I like the unsteadiness it gave to the scene. As for the second part of the chapter, it was lovely. The presence of both George and Ginny was a great addition, in the same time showing that Percy is definitly back into his siblings' good graces (I do wonder how long after the war this story takes place though, purely in terms of I'm curious, that is). Oh and, for a girl who doesn't have courage, I think she showed quite a lot actually! Telling him straight up like that that she's expecting his child definitly is courageous in my mind! And of course he'd react like that, it was so perfect!

I noticed one little slip in spelling :

" “Audrey,” he said catching site of me... "; I think you mean 'sight'

All in all, that was a great second chapter. I like the balance of flashbacks and yet having the story move forward. The introduction of those main characters is going well and they are really enjoyable. Great work and there is no need to re-request, I'll read the next chapter on my own (and leave a review, as I always do anyway :) )!

I'm glad you liked the story, the flashback and my characterzation. I had a really hard time figuring what to do about the flashbacks, I wanted to keep them, but I didn't want them to be awkward, you know?

Personally I think this story takes place about a year after the war, and the reason why Percy's family didn't know about her was because Percy didn't want to get made fun of by his brothers. :)
