Review:CambAngst says:
I keep missing you when you're the last post in the review exchange thread, so I'm reviewing this chapter just because I feel like it.

Augh! Gwenny is such a chicken. Seriously, I want to jump up and down with thumbs in my armpits, waving my elbows and making chicken noises because she is so chicken! How can your lips be a fraction of an inch from the person you love and you do nothing about it? Bwak, bwak, bwaaak!

OK, now that I've gotten that out of my system. Once again you're teasing us with another close call. With every missed opportunity, the story pulls me along. Things keep coming so close, and always in different and original ways. I'm not sure how much longer you can keep this up and not run out of ideas, but I'm interested in finding out. Do you follow the wide world of Internet Memes, by the way? I think Gwenny has reached Friend Zone Level 99.7 with James.

So one little thing about Rosie visit bugged me. If Gwenny (and James) are so worried about Gwenny's safety, it seems a bit odd that Rosie would be able to just burst through the door unannounced. Then again, being quasi-family, she might have privileged access. It just seems like maybe a word or two to that effect would have made it a little less jarring. Aside from that, Rose's visit was really fun to read. I am left wondering who the D-R-E-A-M-Y guy she saw on the stairs was. It's nice to see that she and Scorpius have a happy relationship going. I think every so often it's nice if somebody writes the two of them as relatively normal instead of the basket-case relationship that most authors seem to give them. I really hope that Rose is onto something with her off-hand remark about James secretly being in love with Gwenny. Seems like a pretty strong hint to drop for no reason.

"James lied. This is a blind date..." - Awesome start. I guess it was hard not to see this coming at the end of the last section. James is too dense to realize when he's being set up, and whats-her-name seems to be well aware of his shortcomings.

I think I noticed a little typo in this section: "And I’m pretty sure James can do." - "James can too"?

Wow. Once you gave us Dylan's full name and the pun that accompanies it, I think you could have stopped right there. It's everything you need to know about the guy in six words. He and Kat seem like a well-matched pair.

“Why wouldn’t you be? I’m hot, you’re too even though you have a horrible taste in clothing,” - It's like he gets his pick-up lines from a badly-written Dramione. This guy isn't even real and I just became aware of his imaginary existence 5 minutes ago and I completely hate him. Well done!

And the story ends on another depressing note, which seems to be a pattern. Will this girl ever learn to stand up for herself where James is concerned? Gr…

OK, I admit it, you've got me. I'm hooked...

Author's Response: Aww, such a lovely surprise when I woke up and saw you had left a review just because you felt like it ♥ really made my day! ^^

Haha, yep. She is such chicken! And she calls herself a Gryffindor... but you know, he's her whole world, she'd die if she lost him, she isn't willing to risk that so easily. And because she's lived so long with those feelings, she's also become too used to the situation and even more afraid to take that one step.

Haha, I have so many situations planned, just wait and see d:

Ahh, yes, I had a feeling I didn't explain that well enough and am planning to do so once I edit this chapter in the distant future. It's a secure building, you cannot access the building if your name is not on the list of a certain persons visitors. Also, there are charms on their apartment doors, so everybody can't access, only the ones who you've granted permission. I sort of explained it in the previous chapters, but I do think that I didn't make it clear enough. I'll add some description when I get to it (:

Yeah, I love my Rosie too d: I wanted to make her different, and this is how I've always seen her. You'll have to wait and see if she's right (x and who the dreamy guy is d:

Haha, thanks. I liked that one too. I always struggle with the transitions and try not to use them too much, but I think this is working really well.

Yeah, typo there. I'll fix it, thanks for pointing it out!

Haha, yeah. They really are, aren't they? No wonder they're best friends! They are so horrible, and that makes them so fun to write about.

Seems like I did a good job with Dylan then d: Mission accomplished!

Let's hope she will learn that!

Aww, thank you so much for this lovely review! I'm glad you like my story so much (: your reviews mean so much because I absolutely adore your story!
