Other than that, this chapter was my favorite yet. The dream/flashback thing of Bellatrix was so appropriately creepy. I can just picture a young version of her torturing that poor cat, and I think it showed the contrast in her and Narcissa when Narcissa tried to soothe her. Not sure if you meant to do this or not (if you did, you're a genius, if you didn't, pretend you did and take credit for it anyways :P), but the cat was sort of a symbol for Draco for me. Because Bella didn't torture him physcially, at least not that we know of, but by trying to use him as a tool, she tortured him that way. And Narcissa's love for him was meant to be soothing.

I also loved the end bit, with the whole "she's awful but I love her". I wrote a Black sisters one shot a while back, and I tried to convey this same emotion (you did it a lot better, of course :P) It really isn't black and white. Narcissa can know that Bella deserved to die, but she can still want vengeance for it. It was a good lead in to the previous chapter (okay, that makes no sense) and I'm starting to feel for Cissa a bit. Okay, not really, she still killed Molly and no one kills Molly and gets away with it >:(

This was your favourite? Wow, thanks Naida! I'm glad you liked the flashback, although I can't claim the credit for thinking of the foreshadowing. I think that's a really interesting thing you spotted there though!

I really aimed to get across the whole 'nothing is black and white' idea, and I'm so glad that you picked up on that! I must be doing something right!
