Wow!! This was absolutely stunning!! I've always thought Petunia is such a complex character and you brought her across really well and made her completely real. In the books she is sometimes difficult to sympathise with, but here you really show the reader what it must have been like to carry her burdens through the years.
I loved the dialogue with Lily; you kept it really simple and really effective and the words seemed like the kind of things that they really would say to each other.
I like the detail with which you describe things at the beginning, especially in the first paragraph with all the associations she has with the house, that was really well constructed. I would be careful of over-describing thought; in some places it did feel like a little too much.
I'm glad that Petunia's attitude to Harry altered the end, it brought the flow of her inner thoughts to a really good conclusion.
