Alright. I sound a bit like a sadist towards Aria, it's just that throughout the whole story, I've been thinking, 'why do all the Wotters like her so much? She's such a Mary Sue! She's just perfect and plastic'... And this was amazing.
To be honest, I thought this story would just be another perfect American exchange girl hooking up with a Wotter story, but it's so much more then that!! In this chapter, we really see Aria's faults and I love her so much more for them. I also quite like Alex; omg, the funniest thing, your signature on the forums got me wanting to watch Hercules, so I did, and I read Alex in Hades' voice! Heheheheh.

Author's Response: OMG OMG OMG. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH RIGHT NOW TOO. I'm so glad that you're /finally/ relating to Aria. Dear God, if she ever starts acting like a Mary Sue feel free to gouge my eyes out. No, seriously. I've worked really hard to make her seem like a real person. I think if you look back over the other chapters, especially the more recent ones, you'll see her faults coming through - not as pronounced as in this chapter, obviously, but they're still there. And people have picked up on them before this chapter from what I've heard in reviews, so I'm very happy to hear that you see them now too. I guess my goal was to take that cliche story line and turn it into something realistic... something that could actually happen (minus the magic, of course). Hopefully I've achieved that :) Because you know, she's so far from perfect and she's really not popular at all - in fact, no one really likes her. I really feel like I've put my own twist on the whole new student thing. Because let's be honest, most new students aren't popular, are they? And they don't immediately have a ton of friends and rumors are spread about them. So yeah. I'm really excited that you see who she is clearly now :D Anyway, thanks so much for the review and I think I'll go watch Hercules now!
