Characterization: well, this was a short chapter, so there wasn't much going on, but we'll see what we've got to talk about...Hermione made her decision! I like that she took her time. That's good. And Salazar is evil, surely, but he doesn't really seem THAT evil, just bitter. Is that intentional?

Descriptions: we didn't get too much going on in this chapter. I think you really could bring it to life by getting into more detail about how Hermione's feeling or how Salazar's frustration is affecting him, etc. Try it. :]

Plot: well, now Salazar is sending ANOTHER assassin. We'll see if she has any success (she won't). Not too much is happening...try to pick things up a little bit. You don't want to lose your readers' interest. :]

This was quite a short chapter. I don't mind the length, but it was definitely a filler. I wonder what will happen next. I'll read on, I suppose. :] Good job, keep up the good work.

Author's Response: Thank you for the review and all the wonderful suggestions.
Salazar's characterization is intentional. As the story goes along you will find out why he is so bitter towards Godric. Though don't get me wrong he is still evil.
thank you for the suggestion on ways to add in more detail. i hadn't even thought to expand on Salazar's scene by adding how his frustrations are affecting him.
Things are going to be picking up a lot in the future chapters.
