Firstly, I think that this is a really interesting idea, and original as well, which is good because clichés are beginning to annoy me. (: I'm glad you think it's original... if not I'd have you point me in the direction of all those stories I must not have seen! :P I honestly don't see any stories not set directly in a specified era or any vampire stories for that matter!
