This is a really sweet story.

You say one of your concerns in this story was whether George's feeling's were believable or not? You needn't have worried. It is one of the most touching pieces I have ever read.

Most people portray George as being a very angry individual after Fred's death and you've shown here that he is quite angry however he has a reason to be due to Snape's separate memorial. It was nice how you added that it to show George wasn't being completely irrational which really enhanced the angst in this.

George crying... awwh. I love the way that he needs to show his emotions and you really do show his grief really well in this mainly because he deals with it quite inwardly around his family but then when he's on his own he shows it outwardly which is mainly how a man does deal with grief.

The whole taking it into the future ten years is a nice touch. It shows that George will have naturally grown up over the past ten years, he will have had children and seen things in a different light. I like the fact that he now realises that Snape wasn't someone who could just be dismissed after his death but that he dedicated seventeen years of his life to a double life.

Little Freddie is adorable too! Can you write more of him... Please *puppy dog face :P*

Author's Response: My apologies for the rate response on this; RL has been getting in the way far too much for my liking as of late.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and review this! I'm so glad you enjoyed it and I'm thrilled to hear my characterization of George worked. I really was worried about that for the simple fact that I hadn't written either of the twins as a main character before, nor had I had much practice with angst at the time. I was mixing two new things so I was so afraid it'd be a complete train wreck - so glad to know it wasn't!

Ah, little Freddie. After this, I've grown to love him, too. However, I must admit that next-gen isn't really my cup of tea. But, your request for him has actually sparked a little idea for a mini-story. Perhaps it will evolve into something... :)
