I don't know why you are worried, because I think you have an amazing and unique story in your hands! Brilliant job! I can't wait to see where you are taking this!

I liked very much how you took the Tale of the three brothers and made it into your own version. It worked really well, the flow, pacing, characterization, everything. It was easy to read and very pleasant.

The dialogue of the three brothers was believable and fitted the era very well! Only one single sentence caught my attention and made me crinkle my nose a bit:

"Another one of your clever shortcuts, Cadmus, yeah?"

The word 'Yeah' doesn't quite fit in my opinion, but that was all I spotted. So excellent work!

I liked your descriptions very much. You managed to set themood in every scene with them and I could easily paint the picture in my mind.

So overall, an awesome first chapter. It held interest from the very beginning to the end. I really hope to see you in my review thread with a re-request!
