SO first off, thanks for re requesting, and so sorry it took so long to get to you!

Alright. I am already so hooked. This story is absolutely adorable! I love the concept of Lily being pushed out into the real world. Plus I really enjoy Ed’s character.


Characterization – As I was saying before, I really like Edwin’s character. I feel he puts a new spin on the “Dursley” Character, yet still has a lot from his father, such as his big appetite, so well done on that. However, I feel Lily’s character is a little bit dragging. In some of your other stories, such as Curiosity is not a sin, I right off the bat feel like I know Rose and Scorpius personally. I feel like you haven’t gotten there yet with Lily, and that she is a bit blank, if you know what I mean. That said, I really like Scorpius is character because of that mysterious element. However Scorpius isn’t the main character, where as Lily is, and I just want to know more about her.

Plot – I am really liking where this story is going. I am starting to feel the plot moving somewhere, which is very good, as we are entering chapter 3. Try and keep in mind though, drama is your friend! You have to have conflicts and problems, if you want your readers to keep coming back! But as far as pacing, you are doing a fabulous job!

Other than those, very minor things, I am very impressed with this story. Another wonderful, work of art, by the fabulous Beeezie!

I can see what you mean about Lily - I've gone through and edited both chapters some, and hopefully you'll get more of a sense of her in coming chapters as well!

There's definitely going to be some drama, but where Cinas is definitely fairly drama-filled, this is going to be much less so - it's more about Lily's internal battles than drama and tension. After all, that's what she's running away from. ;)
