So I'm re-reading all these chapters, and it's taken me quite a while. I absolutely love the length of them. It's like reading an actual novel.

I noticed a few spelling errors/typos, although nothing too big. I think when you type 'come,' a lot of times it turns into 'comes,' which is slightly distracting to me, but really not that huge of an issue overall.

I think I forgot how much I loved this story. And I hope I'm not going to offend you by saying this, seeing as the story is amazing, but sometimes I think Iris' way of speaking implies that she forgets she was a victim. I know she doesn't, and that every time she's around Kane she acts pretty cold, but there are a few instances where sex/virginity are brought up, and she just acts completely normal about everything. I know Iris isn't the type to tell everyone and expect pity, or even pity herself, but she would definately be a bit more emotionally traumatized at least internally, no matter how much time passed. Even years down the road she will remember the experience, but it will still be there, lingering in the back of her mind, haunting her on occasion. It will come across her mind every now and again, no matter how hard she tries to block it out.

Author's Response: Ah, the beginning chapters are so awful they make me cringe, the amount of typos, spelling errors, missed punctuation and just general...erk, it's just frightening xD I really need a beta but there's just so much to do I don't think I'll really be able to get one at this stage.

That said some of the more recent earlier chapters kind of reminded me how much I like this story too (at times) and that I really did want to continue it.

And I totally agree, I was thinking that the other day, because the thing is I didn't want to make everything an overly angsty mess because it can be prone to it but I think I ended up going too far the other way and skimming over it all when it did actually need some emphasis, I've got a few things up my sleeve that'll hopefully iron it out but I think when I go back and do the 'grand edit' I'll add a few bits in here and there!
