So, I wanted to continue reading Healing where I left off, but the plot is really hazy in my mind, and the newest unread (for me) chapter is over 8000 words, so I scratched that as not an ideal project for 11:30 on a school night. I also considered Sticks in a Bundle, since it also has new chapters, but I remember that being a kind of heavy read, and again, the chapters were longish.

So here I am with this light story collection. :) I seem to be striking out on the Marauders tonight, though. Hmm. Never have been a big Remus/Tonks fan either.

However. This was a really short, sweet, light story. I quite enjoyed it. You did an excellent job of drawing parallels between the HP world and the real world, tying it in with the Christmas story as well as the types of worries many people may have about bringing a child into the world (though Remus and Tonks have every right to be more worried than average).

Anyway, this was a sweet, fun read. :)

And no worries about Healing or Sticks. Sticks is a really heavy read, and since the dang author of Healing is so SLOW updating, its no wonder you've been left with a hazy memory of the plot! I don't blame you at all for not wanting to tackle them on a school night! I'm just completely excited you read this little story!

I have to say I'm honored by your comments. I know you are not one to throw away a compliment, and that means a lot to me.

I'm not a huge Remus/Tonks person either. Wait, let me rephrase that. I like them together, and I like them as characters very much, and I really don't want to see either of them with anyone else, but I've never had a burning need to read or write stories about them. But this fic was different. It came to me in three rather vivid flashes so I knew exactly who each chapter was supposed to be about, whether I wanted to write them or not. LOL Muses can be demanding.

I'm so glad you liked it! I was worried about the topic, mixing real world and HP world like that, but I suppose it's working well.
