Absolutely positively loved this story.

Harry's Pixie cover story was simply brilliant. An excellent piece of writing and plot, that was.

Dumbledore not having seen the error of his ways, creating the Death Eaters instead of the Order. Hermione dead! and by Harry's hand. All brilliant - Hermione being gone was a shocker.

Fred and George are alive! Excellent. I was really really glad to see the Canon Ron Show up. That was great! Harry just ain't Harry without his partner. And that AU Ron's reaction to everything was perfect. Painful, but perfect - still pining for Hermione (brought a tear to my eye).

And Ginny scolding Draco for being such a guy, mindlessly following orders - that was perfect!

This line totally floored me: "Suppose there is a reality where Voldemort won the war; what if he finds a coin and comes here?"

Dude!! Dunno if this was an intentional homage, but I'm really flattered, regardless. And I think the idea of AU Draco and Canon Harry having a go at an AU Voldemort is simply brilliant.

Now, my absolute favorite twist has to be the mirrors! And the ending, "Hi George," George said. "I have someone here who really wants to talk to you." That's just so awesome.

A truly great story mate. I'm really glad I dropped by to your author's page.

P.S. Again, brilliant minds think alike. For the past year I've been toying with the idea of Ron and Harry, as aurors, dueling a dark wizard who hurls a Portkey at both of them; when it touches them, Harry and Ron end up...well, dunno, but somewhere bizarre and then the girls set off to try to bring them back. Maybe we should just start writing stuff together ;)

Author's Response: Oh wow! Maybe that WAS where the Voldemort from an AU came from. I remember now reading that in one of your stories. I hope you don't mind my subconscious borrowing that little bit of gold.
The pixie part had me laughing to myself as I was writing it. The good guys can always come up with the most elaborate lies.
It was almost required that Hermione be dead because of Harry AU. I had to have something that would make Ron AU hate Harry even if he knew he wasn't the AU Harry.
I must confess that the mirror bit nearly made me want to write yet another chapter. That didn't last long though. This one was already long enough. As it was I had to split what was written as one chapter into two in order to fit in under the number of characters limit.
I don't know if i have another portkey adventure in me. Actually i am now thinking of a Dementor love story as suggested in a recent podcast. It is still in the conceptual stages though, as you might expect. I am also inspred by my 11 year old son who has started writing a HP story for his English teacher. He is writing the story of the founders of Hogwarts when they first meet at the age of 13. I can't wait to read it.
