Review:Toujours Padfoot says:
Another lovely chapter! I love it when fanfics include class time. More often than not (and I'm guilty of this in fic as well), time at Hogwarts is shown in a series of hallway scenes, lunch/breakfast/supper scenes, or basically weekends or evenings when class isn't occurring. I enjoy seeing that original magic from the books, and going through classes with characters. So it was definitely a treat to see Elsa in Potions and Charms. I appreciate you taking the time to write about that because it's not something often seen anymore. :)

I'm curious as to why Elsa has such a difficult time with charms like refilling, but she can flick her wand and easily do nonverbal incantations to warm her clothing, rid water from her clothing, or smooth the wrinkles and freshen her clothing as demonstrated at the beginning of the last chapter. Did Vera teach her these, or do some charms come more naturally to her than others? It takes a lot of talent to do nonverbal charms, and in contrast with how hard it is for her to grasp most charms, she's evidently very good at others. So I was merely wondering. ^ ^

I liked this line here:

Immediately all Elsa wanted was a mirror, because if she was walking around looking like the walking dead, she wanted to know about it.

I really like Elsa. She feels real, like someone who really did walk the halls of Hogwarts back in the Marauder days. She isn't perfect at everything and she seems well-rounded, getting along the best that she can and making do with the trials life has handed her. Despite having a twin brother who openly attacked her in class and being engaged against her will to a boy she cannot stand, Elsa does not mope and complain about it all day long. She lives in the here and now, managing quietly, and I admire her a lot for it.

Looking forward to the next chapter!
