Your post in title help really intrigued me into reading this story, and I loved it so far!

It reminds me of CSI and NCIS and Criminal Minds and the other murder mystery shows I love, with a Harry Potter twist. I'm loving the description of the crime scene.

I did catch a few mistakes, though:

+ "Nothing caught his eye until his third sweep around and he found something his team had missed, he had almost missed."

^ This sentence is a comma splice. The comma should be removed and replaces with a period, semicolon, dash, etc.

+ "given the ligature marks around her neck, she was strangled from behind till she almost lost consciousness."

^ The "g" at the beginning should be capitalized.

+ "If so, who's?"

^ Right now, this is saying, If so, who is? I think you meant "whose". :)

Don't worry, all minor mistakes, and nothing a good beta can't fix. :D

I'm looking forward to reading more! THe suspense is killing me! (Pun intended.) ^^
