Author's Response: Thank you so much for such lovely words! I'm very flattered. Your favorite author? Aww, that just makes my day. I definitely did not have the heart to kill Sirius - this entire story was written just so that I could have my own guilty pleasure alternate ending. He deserved one, after having such a hard life.
