This was a truly spectacular ending. It tied everything up nicely, and things seemed to fall into place.

I was never a big fan of Snape/Lily, but the way you told the story seems believable, so kudos. The bits with Peter and Remus were just right, too.

Just one thing I was wondering, though... How come they never heard about Dumbledore dying? Maybe they wouldn't have seen him, but at least James could've read about it in the paper or something...

I was a bit sad that the story had to come to an end, but I think the way you ended it was just right. Your stories are really good, and I hope my reviews did them justice! :D

Author's Response: I'm actually not a huge Lily/Snape fan either but it fit with this story and I plan on writing an outtake sometime soon. I struggled for a long time deciding if I was going to grant Peter happiness in the afterlife so I'm glad to have some validation that I was right in my choice to deny him that absolution.

To be honest, I didn't even think about Dumbledore and no one has ever mentioned that before, so it's interesting you brought it up. I think I was so focused on Sirius's death and then the major deaths involved with the second war that I didn't even remember that Dumbledore had died.
