Hi there! It's me off the forums with your (belated) review :)

I really loved the chance to have an insight into Narcissa Malfoy's marriage. You characterised Narcissa really well, and I love how you started it off with her all happy and remembering her meeting of Lucius. It really added depth to her character before we found out what the problem was, and it made her a lot more real and easy to access.

I also love how we could see Lucius becoming more cold and distant before us, thanks to Narcissa's memories then her explanations and when he eventually came in. The way you made Cissy so warm to him at first, then realise exactly what was going on, was a really clever view on why she's like she is later on. Her shock was really brilliant, but I have a new respect for her since she decided to keep on living for her baby and ignore whatever Lucius is doing - I loved that.

Your descriptions of Narcissa and her memories were all really well done. You had careless and happy manner conveyed to us, before her upset and hurt and later resolve and anger showed. I loved how she resolved to be strong at the end, and was so brave in that way.

It was great to see exactly what an atmosphere Draco would have grown into! I really loved it, and hearing Narcissa's voice before she who she was later on. Great job!
