It was quite interesting, the way you described Draco and Astoria's relationship, on how they were somewhat arranged because of their stature, but did come to love each other. And that, even so, the way their marriage came together causes a lot of doubts and escalating conflicts.

I didn't expect him to be hit by a car. Draco going down by muggle means -- strange thought! It's quite tragic how he really did want to tell Astoria, but couldn't get the message to her. I thought maybe, he might have a last chance, but he didn't.

Writing's the best form of recovery, isn't it? :D Spur of the moment oneshots are the best!

Author's Response: You're first paragraph sums up very nicely the whole issue between Draco and Astoria. She wanted to believe he loved her but just couldn't get rid of the nagging doubts.

Yes...muggle means brought down the great Draco Malfoy. I wanted it to be sudden, for him to be surrounded my people but yet so alone. In those final moments there was no one around that knew his name and no one to convey his last thought to Astoria.

And writing definitely is the best form of recovery. it is also the best way to pass those boring hours until you find yourself sufficiently tired to be able to fall asleep when it's hardly dark, there are people walking about and machines beeping and you can't sleep comfortably as you have an IV in your arm. Writing definitely helped :)
