I've seen you around at TGS and on the forums, and so I wanted to take a look at your stories, only to find that they were seriously neglected! It's most unfair, seeing that, from what you have in this story, you're a really good writer and definitely deserving of more attention.

This story was fantastic, both in its setting and the way that it captures this complicated, tense moment between Dumbledore and Grindelwald. Vienna is my favourite city and your portrayal of it was spot on, especially in regard to the food and the cafe culture. I can see Vienna as a place that would draw Dumbledore with its colour and beauty, not to mention its wonderful sweets. ;) It was interesting to see how out of place Grindelwald was - you wonderfully conveyed the feeling of his unease and disdain in the Muggle cafe, then contrasted that with the way he uses Dumbledore's feelings against him. Your portrayal of Grindlewald came across with all the energy and reckless power that we only got a hint of within the books. It was fantastic to see him depicted so well.

There's so much more to say about Dumbledore, but I shouldn't ramble on for too long. Suffice to say that I enjoyed this unique snapshot of the pre-War wizarding world and the very strange relationship between these two wizards. I wish that more writers would take up the challenges that relationship offers. You, however, have portrayed it and both characters excellently, and I look forward to reading more of your work. ^_^

Dumbledore is such an amazing character, he's that mysterious wizard that we only know little of and it was a huge task trying to write him - so I'm extremely happy to hear that you like it. I'm also glad that you think I portrayed Vienna well. I haven't been there yet, so I had to rely on what I had heard of it and what my friends who had been to visit could tell me.
