Review:StarryLaura says:
oh. goodness. i never thought so much emotion could be incorporated into the only two chapters of a short story :')
i'm a dramione fanatic myself, and i love your stories :D this one? probably the most emotional of them all. yes. i shed more than a few tears. i was crying like a baby at the end of both chapters...
there's so much pent-up emotion in their relationship in this story, despite the gigantic time jump between the two parts. that takes a lot of talent :) my eyes are still tearing up right now :') i guess the first part for me was the entire sadness + desperation + sentimentality thing, with draco confessing everything before he had to leave her, maybe for forever.
the second part, when hermione thought draco was dead, the way she called his name so many times but refused to go to the great hall really touched my heart. pierced me even. and then when draco's voice called, i felt like i was being lifted into the sky :) too poetic, but whatever. yet, those two things weren't what set me crying in the second part. it was actually the reunion that released even more tears, because they were opening up to each other with their worries. :') i think it would have also been a bit better if draco thought she had died too. that would have given it even more emotion (i doubt i have enough tears left for it though) despite the fact that he made her promise to stay hidden and safe during the war.
i never thought a short story could be so perfect :') you're truly an amazing writer, i can't wait to see more of your work (i already have! :D) and you really deserve all of the reviews and favorites you have received, you're amazing at showing emotions of draco and hermione :')

Author's Response: Oh. My. Goodness, starrylaura! You just made me tear up a bit! This has got to be one of most kind things that anyone has said about this story and my writing:)

Yes, this is the most emotional. I honestly cried while writing it. There's just something about someone saying goodbye to their love that just makes me want to cry like an infant:)

Thank you so much for mentioning that I captured the emotion despite the time gap:) Yay! Haha I know, I wrote part two in the early morning while listening to some very moving music, and was misting myself. (hahaha you must be wondering why I do this to myself!) :D Nope, not too poetic! I completely agree. Goodness, I never thought of that, having Draco look for her too. When I wrote part 2, my intention was to look at the scene though Hermione's eyes this time.

Wow, thank you so so much! I hope you continue to read my stories! Even though they take forever to update in the queue:) Thank you so much for taking the time to write this lovely review!
