So this was incredibly adorable. I was smiling through more than half of it; Harry's nerves and Ron's reaction and Hermione being so maternal, aw. (:

At first I thought this was a Harry/Ron and then I realized that there *is* one ship that I'll never read. O.o But it wasn't! Which is good. (:

I loved, loved, loved the line "No destiny awaited them other than one of their own making." It's so Harry; I can hear him saying that exact thing.

Your characterization, I think, was spot-on. All three of them were brilliantly portrayed, and because of that this was a really believable story. I can see Harry asking her like that and Ron being nervous and "hating" living with Hermione and the whole thing played out in my head very nicely. (:

It flowed really well, there wasn't anything jarring that I noticed and it seemed to go really naturally.

A really cute one-shot, all in all. (:

I'm so glad you liked that! I know Harry isn't too overdramatic in his spoken language, but I thought a line like that wouldn't be too un-Harry at all!
