Hello!
This fic just made me want to go "aah" when I finished reading it. I really like the moment that you show between the two friends. I think it is pretty much exactly what would happen when Harry would ask Ron to be best man. The thing with worrying about Ron's reaction was very good- I like how he didn't want Harry and Ginny living together. I think that it fits in with Ron's character well, as he has been known to react like that before- she is his little sister after all.
I liked that you did not dwell on the details of the engagement. By doing this, you ensured that the friendship between the two took centre stage.
It is very typical of Ron to worry about what it would do to his and Hermione's relationship, too, so I liked that. I also really liked Hermione's entrance. I think you showed a side of Hermione that we only get to see occasionally, yet you still ensure that she is not OOC.
From what I know from JKR interviews and HP Wiki, etc, you have also made sure that everyone is doing what JKR said they would be doing, which makes the story all the more believable.

There were a couple of typo's and grammatical mistakes, which I believe you are aware of...e.g. "most of him day; they were’nt worrying; therein peace; chocked," etc.
Apart from this, I can't see any problems. I think you did very good characterisation, the believability was good and the flow was excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable one-shot! :)

Author's Response: Hi! Thanks for this! I really hoped I woulld get Ron right! I didn't want for his reactions to seem OOC, and I'm glad that didn't happen! I'm glad you picked up on the focus I was trying to give Harry and Ron over the romance, I love Harry/Ginny so this was very hard, but important! Hehe that's the side of Hermione that made me love her from the start, but it is a side we don't see all the time!
Thanks for noticing my need to stay in canon! Also, so sorry about the spelling and grammar, how off putting! I'll be sure to edit! Thanks so much for everything :)
