I always hate it when people say "You can't do so-and-so" right after you do it. Obviously, you did, so what are they going to do about it? Definitely sympathizing with Gwen here! :)

I loved learning about Gwen's wand, and thought it seemed to match her personality very while! A little spitfire - I like that description. :) And a male wood... but of course, she doesn't seem ordinary!

She does seem very well prepared and everything has been thought out for her plan. A smart girl indeed! I wonder what house she was in? (I'm leaning towards Gryffindor, because of her passion, but also Ravenclaw with her logic. Heh, sorry, I just love sorting characters! :D) Glad she didn't back down, even in her letter.

Upton really seems to love her. Lucky girl! ;) I'm excited to meet Fox and to read the rest of this story! It really is fabulous and original, unlike anything else I've read!

Unfortunately... I can't think of who Upton's based off of. Drat! I'll have to get back to you on that one. Excellent job!

Author's Response: I found a website that talked about wand materials, and I was like Oh, this is perfect for Nepotism! I had to include it. I'm glad you liked that bit too.
I actually don't know what house Gwen was in... I should probably figure that out. I need to get my muse back for this story!
