Author's Response: He will definitely get a shock when he finds out, that's for sure! David is certainly tactless -- it's kind of just how he is -- but you're right, Frankie should have said something to start.

Unfortunately, her money problems are a bit more dire than you might think, so that 100 galleons is only going to go so far. As for Lettie and Clemence, they're up in the next chapter!
