That was really bittersweet. I loved it. I was really rooting for James II until I remembered that in the end, it would have to take "time and a little bit of luck". I hope Charlotte goes out with him!! Okay, okay. Settling down now. ^_^ (still crossing my fingers, though, he sounds so adorable) I like how everyone was portrayed so differently. James II is more like the first James than like his father, which I found interesting and fitting, because that's his namesake. But at the same time, he's so different from the first James because the first James would never dream of flirting with other girls. He had his eye on Lily and she was always the only one for him. He was very, very determined. And then you have Harry, who just wants to survive the school year. He's more innocent than the others, strangely enough, even though at that point in his life he had endured the most problems. I think you captured all of them perfectly. Wonderful!

Author's Response: Hi! So glad you loved it since I completely adored yours! I'll let you in on a little secret *whispers* with all this great response I'm going to write Charlottes point of view of this scene, and a sequel about them getting together! Really glad you got what I was trying to do with all the characters - they're all products of their life experience. I was really worried Harrys innocence/maturity wouldn't come accross right, delighted it did. Thank you so much!!! :)
