Hi!

I was redirected here from the Story Seekers discussion in the Ravenclaw Common Room (which I find alright to tell you because I've heard you're a 'Claw yourself) and this story is truly amazing.

Out of the three stories on the thread, yours is the one that made the biggest statement to me. The statement is composed of so many emotions, protests, and revelations, I couldn't possible restate them myself, especially in the eloquent way you've done here.

The "Monster" concept you've used to write this story just makes me feel introspective and it's really deep, that's all I can say.

I was totally expecting this to be Sirius Black, but using Remus was so much more effective.

Not only do we never hear much about Remus after Lily and James' death, except for the fact that he was questioned, we also don't hear much of Remus as a character during this time period of his life.

Going back to the "Monster" concept, that's one of the reasons Remus is perfect for this. Throughout the HP books, Remus is always struggling to accept himself because of his lycanthropy. He always seems to consider himself a monster. Here, he looks like he's struggling not to turn into that monster, and to just deal with the one he's facing right now (I'm not sure if that's how you wanted this story to come off as at all.)

Absolutely perfect.
