Uhm... anyway! that was brilliant! I mean... really. Let me tell you, I've read twenty or so stories tonight because I'm on some sort of review spree, and this was by far one of the most original ones I've read (not that the others weren't original - yours just goes above and beyond). It wasn't even the premise that was so... unique about it, but there was something about your prose that just... sticks! Lovely.

Your dialogue is really natural, which I envy because I find that it's very hard to do - writing dialogue like a normal person would actually speak. So, anyway, that was brilliant. The last line especially, which I'm sure you intended to kind of... stick... was wonderful. I really enjoy it when a piece ends like that. Kind of abrupt but with a completely awesome/brilliant/fantastic last line. What a lovely way to end.

Also, your adjectives/adverbs throughout here are really nice and original. You don't just say "HE SAID THIS" but you really string the reader along something much more crafty, if you know what I mean. Your use of the word "listlessly" somewhere near the top there was especially great, because for some reason I just thought that was a really nice word to use. Excellent word choice, my dear.
