This isn't a bad start. I think that Hermione is a bit too willing to go along with the plan, but she does make some insights, like Hermione does in the books.

I'm not usually a fan of time travel stories but this one seems like it could work out. I'm not sure about the whole logistics of it all though-like why Dumbledore can't tell Hermione what the message is. That kind of paradoxical thinking makes my head hurt!

Maybe you could have Dumbledore explain the whole mechanics of time travel. Is it a spell? Or something else?

Author's Response: Thanks so much for reviewung this. You`re right that I haven`t quite captured the conflict she should be feeling - in my head she is both scared and willing,but only the willing comes across.

There is a reason that Dumbledore doesn`t explain the time travel thing - again it would cause a paradox. As I`m slightly obsessed with time travel stuff, i forget to add sufficient explanation.
