I think I saw this challenge on the forums- you had to write about the entire life of someone, right? I'm so glad you chose Katie Bell (you know how I love my minor characters :P) She's such an interesting character, and there's so much you could do with her background and family history. Which you already did. :)

It's off to a good start, I think. You've made it interesting- Katie's mother dying in childbirth? How horrible. :( And you've introduced her family. I can't wait to see Katie's relationship with her dad and brother.

Yes, that's right. After your challenge, I had this obsession for writing stories with minor characters. I'm not sure how I'm going to get up four more chapters before Janaury though :/

I actually got the idea from this movie we were watching during class and I was like, 'hey that'd be a cool idea'.
