This chapter as just as wonderful as the that last :D I just love your characterization of Rose. I don't know why, but it just feels different than how I see her normally portrayed and I really liked it.

The gnome thing was brilliant. Having deep conversations with a gnome isn't something I'd expect to read about, but it worked just perfect. I got a great sense of her internal struggle on whether or not it was right for her to go home. I'm glad she did, but I think it was important that she really took time to make sure it was the right choice for her.

Another thing I adored was that you had Audrey be her favorite aunt! I've never seen that happen, and I love it. Everyone usually has her really close to Ginny and Audrey is just like a female Percy. But you made her very likeable, and a good aunt/friend to Rose.

I can't wait for more, I'm loving this story.

You have no idea how happy it makes me to get such a reaction!

I think Willy is just another (more sly) version of Jimminy Cricket. He's your conscience and he helps you make the right decision while still letting you make it. And it's just people/gnomes like him that Rose needs right now. Not people who offer sympathy, but empathy and guidance.

I don't know why people always make Audrey a stuck up pinch? I've always imagined her bringing light into Percy's world. His better half in every sense of the expression. I'm glad you liked her!
