As ever, a wonderfully unique take on a minor character. I love the fact that you have Scorpius and Rose hating each other; not 'oh you're so perfect but I'm scared to admit it' hate, but actual 'you annoy and disgust me' hate. So rare to find stories like this, but they do actually fit the characters (at least what we can guess about them based on genetics and likely upbringings) far better than any star-crossed lover ideals.

Also adore your description of Rose, if only because you have managed to avoid what I always seem to do, which is have every female be overly pretty. Explicitly describing Rose as not that pretty, and giving her frizzy hair, is exactly what fits with canon, and thus gives this story great realism.

Finally, man can you write - the description of the male sulk is amazing! Thanks for sharing!

Don't get me wrong... I love Rose/Scorp fics, but I just HAD to write one that was anti cause some of them just bug me...

I also decided to tackle something about the films that I hate which is their decision to make hermione's hair normal, and i wanted to make it clear that this wasn't 'filmville' so made sure that nothing wa over 'prettyfied'

I find the male sulk to be an insanely amusing thing to watch, whether it's my brother, dad, or one of my exes... and i dedcided that i had better do it justice :D
