Emma, love. Hello!

This was beautifully, truly it was my dear. You wrote the heartbreak Penelope well, you could feel her sorrow for how her relationship with Percy ended and all things leading up to it. You wrote her beautifully. She really came to life in this, as both a person and some who loves/cares for someone.

The lack of dialogue works well, granted I am biased because I love stories without it. I feel it shows a certain talent of the writer if they can pull off a story without it and show the characters well. The first person is also wonderful. That is something that a lot miss the mark when attempting, but not you love. Not you!

This was heartbreakingly beautiful, really! Brilliant job! Now I am off to read more!

Author's Response: Collette! All these reviews from you! I'm eternally endebted, you know. I'm going to do the same thing to you - but perhaps not all of them quite yet because you have 25 and that is a lot. I've only given that many reviews on this account, so... perhaps one day. :P Anywho! I adore Penelope - she is such an interesting character in that we know nothing about her except that she was Percy's girlfriend and a Ravenclaw Prefect. There's interesting analysis of her name on the lexicon, and I would love to dabble with the implications of it one day, though she would be a COMPLETELY different character to the Penelope here.

I also love stories without dialogue - it's such a pain to write, and I love the atmosphere the lack of it gives a story. You give me too much praise! But I adore you, and I promise to review as soon as I can. Not sure when that will be, but during these easter holidays most definitely. -loves-
