Okay, so I'm reading this story for about a week and I'm already at chapter eighty three. So I thought it was time to review this story.
Well first I want to tell you that this is the best story of the Marauders-erea I have read so far. And I have read a lot of Marauder fic's.
So Remus first than, because he is my absolute favorite. I like the way how you made Remus grow up, in his first two years at Hogwarts I thought he was a little innocent. But after thos years I think he became a bit more outgoing. I really liked the part were he figured out he had gray hair, I laughed so hard at that part, that's because I always thought that would happen when he was twenty five or somewhere along that age.
Sirius is my second favorite and I really like hin in this story. I really liked the parts with Regulus, I mean they may not like eachother, but they are still brothers. The chapter were Regulus came to Sirius to talk, Sirius should have listened to him. But I really like the bond that Sirius and James have with eachother, Sirius is just so loyal to James and that is something I really like about Sirius.
So than we go too unromantic James. :) The thought about James being a healer instead of an auror, never crossed my mind. But yeah I can really picture James as a healer, now I have read your story.
This is actually the first story were I actually enjoyed reading about Peter. I just loved how you made him change little by little and not so fast, like others normally do.
The agruments that Sirius and Remus had were fun to read and I was always dissapionted when James or Peter came between them. I really liked the agrument when Sirius broke the window, I loved that part.
And Harry Lupin is just awesome! There are no other words to descripe him.
So that was my very long review and I will review again when I have finished reading. By the way sorry if my english sucks, but I'm from Holland and well better than this it is not going to get. :)
Author's Response: Wow thanks!
Remus is my favorite too, so he gets a lot of attention in this story. I agree that he was fairly innocent when he was younger, but never completely considering what he went through for his entire life. The part where he first saw his grey hair was fun to write. I was never sure when he would have gotten it, since he had it by the time he was thirty three, so I thought it would be funny if it started cropping up when he was sixteen.
Those were some of my favorite scenes to write - the ones with Sirius and Regulus. You're right that they don't really like each other, but they are brothers and unfortunately Sirius forgot that by the time Regulus came to ask for his help. James is essentially Sirius's brother-substitute, the one he'd rather have.
Ha, James thinks he's unromantic, but he doesn't realize that a girl would rather have the goofy part of him that has no idea what he's doing (like proposing in the middle of a battle). A lot of stories have James as an Auror, but I see him as a healer and I've seen it done once or twice before. I think, after his experiences with a werewolf for a friend, he would want to help people as a healer would.
Peter was a fun character to write, particularly when he makes his turn, which you'll be getting to soon. He goes from a sweet eleven year old to a demented adult.
Well, James and Peter had to step in otherwise Sirius and Remus would probably kill each other. Oh the window argument is my favorite. It's just so stupid, but it's something they would get mad over.
Harry! Oh, he was my favorite adult. Thanks for reading!
